Everybody ,except english-speaking KJV owners, is going to hell. How convenient is that? Every other translation is evil. I do not care what your view is , KJV worshippers, any view you have based on the heresy that KJV is inspired will be irrational, anyhow. You have to believe that there is one "inspired" translation for each language(absurd) or your precious KJV is the "magic" book of books(utter heresy). I would advise you ,KJV folk, to get your christianity credentials "renewed". There is one "inspired" version that once was on earth but is now in the bosom of God. Go and learn what that means.

Compare the KJV to the Latin Vulgate and the Dead Sea Scrolls and you'll find that KJV is horribly mistranslated to begin with. Later versions have gotten somewhat better but KJV 1611 isn't even worth wiping your butt with, unless you're a king looking for a divorce.

There is a major misconception about KJV version of the Bible being most accurate. It is NOT. The Bible scholars and serious Bible students who made an effort to learn about manuscripts and issues of translations know that the most accurate translation is the New American Standard Bible. In fact KJV it is most misleading and confusing translation I have ever read. The archaic words in it that we no longer use and understand its meaning, keep the reader away to understand the truth, satan loves it. Read for example KJV verses 2 John 10 and Heb 2:18 and you will see what I mean.

For all KJV only folks I recommend to read ‘The King James Only Controversy’ by James R. White and ‘King James Only?’ by Dr. Robert A. Joyner. Stop worshiping King James worship King Jesus.

I'm a Christian, and in my church, we actually had a few families leave the church because our pastor didn't use the KJV exclusively. To me, I don't think that should be the focus. Honestly, the KJV can be a little difficult to read for some, especially those who are new to reading the Bible. There are other great translations- the New International Version (NIV), for example. The Bible that I use is called "The Open Bible"- it's great- it puts the verses into a more "modern", I guess you could say, version. There's a Bible that my husband bought that we found a little hard to read, and we really didn't like it that much. It's called The Message Bible. We found it hard to follow in sermons because it's not divided into verses. Also, we felt that it didn't really give God the respect He deserves.

Yep there's lots of those KJV only folks out there. Some of these people are obsessed about it, to a very real fault. I think it would be hilarious if it wasn't so absurd. I choose to read and compare a variety of translations KJV included and GASP...even the Catholic one.

Slow down Batman. I do believe the KJV is the best translation but I have never heard a REAL born again Christian say anything like that. If you really want to get technical you should learn Greek and Hebrew so you can really read it straight. To many Christians get so wrapped up in legalism they don't have time to do what Jesus told them to do. Go ye therefore and preach the gospel.r
