Can you please give me some opinions on both airlines. I have been told by a travel agent friend of mine (thru whom i will not be purchasing the ticket)......that british airways cabin crew are a little complacent and are not the best all the time.
The fare i have been quoted is pretty much the same ...can some one please tell me of their experiences on BA or Virgin Atlantic?

I like to snack on drinks and peanuts/pretzels once the lights go out and the dinner service. I also like to ask of drinks thru out the flight.... so please give me your opinions of both airlines !

thanks!

My boss travels from LA to London all the time and he always insist on Virgin. Said he had bad experiences with BA. Also, Virgin has a class called "premium economy" that gives you better seating than regular economy and does not cost as much as a business class ticket. Some seasons you can get premium economy for just a few hundred dollars more. Make sure you get the direct flight from Heathrow to LAX. No connections.

If cost isn't a problem, go with Virgin because it's way better in terms of service and all amenities. If cost is a problem, then British Airways is the way to go. But they're not as good as Virgin
