It's always seemed to me that those who believe that God is in all, and all are in God, are less likely to commit violence in the name of their religion, than those who believe in God as a separate, corporal being, who sits in judgement!

Yes. By believing that God is in all, and we are all part of God it would be an act committed against yourself. That is why doing unto others as you would have them do unto you is so important.

Who have you been talking to? I know from those around me, that Pantheists are just as likely to be violent as monotheists and atheists. To be perfectly frank, most of the most violent people I've personally met have been pantheists (and I can only hope they were the bad apples of the group).

WHAT?!?!?!

that makes no sense to me. wether god is corporeal or noncorporeal people stilluse gods and religions to justify violent deeds.

wether god is corporeal or not has nothing to do with commiting violence.
