That someone actually asks questions to get answers. To date, most of the questions that I have observed in this forum (society and culture) are only aimed at getting answers that reaffirm the questioners current belief, not to get a valid opinion or an answer that doesn't meet their preconception.

Hopefully, yours does not fall into this category, because it is a good question and I'm looking forward to intelligent answers.

I used to think people used the terms "cult" or "not Christian" the same way I would...now I realize that a lot of people just use it to mean a belief system that isn't exactly like theirs, so I've learned to take those as compliments rather than sources of offense :)

I thought at least half of the Christians out there believed in living above sin. I have discovered that is not so. The majority do not believe in deliverance from sin.

Two months ago, I thought atheists were these horrible and hopeless people. I have definitely been enlightened. I can accept that it is fine not to believe and that it actually makes a great deal of sense. I still believe, though.
