I fervently attempt everyday to live as Christ taught us to and obey his teachings. However, I have always been a shy, introverted person. Conversation is not my thing and I often have no idea what to talk about when I get into them. I would much rather spend my day meditating and praying, but I feel as if I don't love my neighbors as I should because of it. I curious what other believers out there think?

A sin is an immoral act that is a transgression against divine law. I do not see you introversion as being this. If you feel you are not serving Christ well enough in some capacity, perhaps you could consider writing about the things you mediate on. Or even taking part, quietly in a local Christian group.
Consider those who choose to dedicate their lives to their beliefs such as nuns and monks. It is their focus and quietude that is often an inspiration for others.

Being shy is not a sin, just as being smart or athletic or any other personality trait is inherently sinful. What is a sin is when you let that stand between you and doing the work of God. Some verses on the subject that I found helpful are: 2 Timothy 1:7 ESV For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. Isaiah 41:10 ESV Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Philippians 4:13 ESV I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Exodus 4:10-12 ESV But Moses said to the Lord, “Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man's mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.”

This may be an area in which you could have some personal growth, but being shy and/or quiet is not a sin. God made some of us more outgoing than others. He needs all kinds of people in the world!

I am a pretty shy person, as well. However, you need to get out of yor shell and be a pillar for the Lord. You need to go out and be an example to others and live your life that reflects to others what type of person you are.

I was shy as an elementary student and God still loved me, I'm sure.
Now I'm in college and I talk to just about anyone.

Not everyone is called to evangelize. Some of us are called to intercessory prayer. So to answer your question, no, being shy is not a sin.

No, half the world is shy, according to standards of today. If you aren't loud, and rude, by today's standards you are shy.
