On a Mission Trip in Latin America. I'm PETRIFIED of being MUGGED everyday, so I HAVE TO PLEAD Jesus' blood!! The first night of a stay in Honduras, in my friend's house, he said,"You will be up at 3:00 a.m." I shrugged it off, and went to sleep. At 3:00, I hear this SCREAMING LAUGHTER come THROUGH his house!! I SCREAMED for Jesus in my mind, and my buddy JUMPED out of bed, and got rid of the lady. THE NEXT night, I heard shooting before going to bed.I told my buddy to call the police, and he plainly said ,"No." The next day, I found out that Police in Honduras don't go to a murder site for 3 HOURS!!
Maybe it's why I love missions so much. I've always come back unscathed.

When I am surrounded by nature, in a peaceful area, or doing something that makes me happy and betters others and myself in the process is when I am closest to God.

During really meaning worship and praise time. Certain praise songs really speak to my heart and I feel God's awesome presence during those times more than others.

I would say when you are very sick or are in very big trouble, thats when most folks seem to reach out to Him. If you reach out to Him only after you die, sorry to say, its too late!
