I think I bent the back axel. Car is only worth about 2-3 thousand dollars. Hoping insureance company will total it out what do you think???

Leaking from the front back tire bent in and under the car it is bent, maybe it is the frame

It is going to cost 1000 for them to give me an estimite.

estimate is covered by insurance company I will however need to pay my deductable of 500.

Yep, likely a total. My co figures if the cost to repair meets or exceeds 60% of the ACV (actual cash value), it's a goner. Hopefully, the car is paid for so they can issue a check directly to the registered owner. Good luck!

It doesn't take much to total out a 9 year old car with 168k!
There is no rear axle, possibly a stabilizer bar. If the leak is from the rear it could be your gas tank, or really anything else could be tracking back there. You may be able to re-buy the vehicle from the insurance co. if it's totaled, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Get a Mitsubishi the next time!!

Probably will be a total just due to age. Probably was a total before the accident happened.

If the back axle is bent, and it's only worth about 2k, I think they'll total it.

I fixed my own, there is no back axle just a strut. but you may be right :(
