Well it didn't help that when we first met...he was drunk......he told his sister(my friend) that he thought i was hot...now if he was drunk then i don't know...but our first meeting he was drunk.

No, you don't have to go out with everyone who asks you. It might sound shallow but being physically attracted to someone is important. If you didn't feel like going out with him then there's nothing wrong with turning him down. As long as you weren't rude about it.

Well, if you really like the guy for who he is, and he likes you, what's to worry about? If you want to like a guy, he has to have the inner qualities that you like in him. Skinny or not skinny, inner character matters most.

No I don't think it was wrong for you to go out with that guy, because if you two have a strong attraction for each other that's beyond looks, you've got it going. And just because he's skinny doesn't mean that he's bad; there are good guys and bad guys in every size, shape, and color. So, if you like him beyond his weight, then don't feel bad or wrong about it.

While appearances aren't all, if you're not physically attracted to them, then chances are there will be no chemistry.

My ex was about 5'10 and 130 lbs. Sad, I know. He was really skinny. Things ended badly, but honestly I'd be okay with dating a sumo wrestler after that. lol.

He does deserve a chance. However, I'm dealing with the same issue as you. I really like this guy but he's so thin!!! He does have muscles, but I like a plumper guy. However, his personality is so great, that perhaps I could just start cooking fattier foods for him, and make him eat more :) Good luck!

Yes. He deserves a chance. It is unwise to form opinions of someone based solely on looks.

A little. I guess if you aren't physically attracted then no one is forcing you to date anyone. Though there is more to a relationship than looks.
