My now 19 yr old learned "Respect" Aretha Franklin... when she was 3... I used to listen to alot of Aretha while driving and one day I hear "R-e-p-t-e-c-s" coming from the backseat as she was singing along with the song... She had all the letters just in the wrong order... It still made me smile as she was singing with such feeling..

My 17 year old learned "Baby Love" The Supremes when he was about 4.... He would run about singing the chorus and saying it was about him because I use to call him "My Baby Love" He was with my mother one afternoon at the mall, as they walked past a record store....he squealed and said "It's my Baby Love Song it's about me.." then burst into dance...My mom said she couldn't stop gigging as he danced around outside the record store singing at the top of his lungs....

My 9 year old learned "Sweet Transvestite" from The Rocky Horror Picture Scow" when she was 3... My brother-in-law was preforming as Frank-N-Furter in a community theater production and my daughter picked up the song listening to my brother-in-law practice... It made us all laugh listening to her sing and watching her dance will wearing a pair of my pumps... The night of the preformance I had to hold her in my lap and shush her several times while he sang because she was trying to sing and dance along from the audience... She did have all the moves and lyrics down and could preform right along side him... It was extremely cute...

Her favorite song now is 'Oh what a mighty God we serve'....not sure if that's the correct title or who sings it. We have our church cd that she hears it on.

But her 1st song was Barney's 'I love you' song.
