There is a place called heaven and the people there are not dead but are living with God forever more. Like heaven there is also a place called hell, where those who have refused Jesus the Son of God are being tormented and will be for eternity.

Well, the sky (atmosphere) must be swarming with the effluvia of decaying corpses, so, in a way, many dead people go to the Heavens.
Other than that, since the Hubble Telescope has discovered quasars billions of lightyears away, i still wonder where exactly Heaven is. Morinic Biblethumpers will always counter these scientific arguments with instant fabrications of their lame imagination.

No, they are alive.
As for the ones in Hell read Luke 16:23 they are in torment.
Also there is no other place in Scripture to go after you die other than Heaven or Hell, no in between, that is a Roman lie.

No. We all go to heaven/hell at the same time. Those in the grave are still in the grave awaiting judgement day. The good persons will feel like a blink after they died before judgement day. The wicked will go through some torment in the grave knowing that they are going to hell and will feel the grave.

My understanding is that if people are in heaven, they're not dead. That would be the life everlasting, wouldn't it? In my opinoin, this is all a load of crap, and even Pope John Paul II said that heaven is not a place, it is seeing God. All this stuff with people on clouds romping with their dead pets and grandparents isn't supported by religious doctrine, even if you do choose to believe in it.

There are no dead people in Heaven but, there are plenty of dead people in Hell. The people in Heaven are ALIVE and the ones in Hell know they are dead and in Hell the worms never die.

have you ever lost someone you loved???
would you REALLY want to believe that after you die you will never see them again!
You have a very callous way of looking at death.
All I can say is that my mom passed away 2 months ago.
I believe with all my heart I will see her in heaven when I die!
God Bless

Yes, because the Bible says it's true and I believe God's word. The Bible says absent from the body, present with the Lord. This is true for anyone who accepted Christ as their Savior before they died. What a beautiful gift of hope that is for us, knowing that we'll see our believing family members and friends again someday!

No, I think all the dead people are here on or in the earth (cremated with ashes scattered, buried in the ground).
