I just got a violation from Yahoo
(check my recent post)

So it's clear that some heartless
& faithless loser felt the need to
attempt negating all the positive
feedback & support I was getting
for my friend April.

If they don't agree that prayer can
work miracles, then why even bother
responding to a question when they
ovbiously aren't offering constructive
comments ??? Better for them to just
move on to another question , than to
make upsetting remarks.

I pray that God will help them to
find compassion for others in their heart.

I appreciate all those who did pray
God Bless each of you : )

i think this type of reporting is very low indeed
no matter what you believe ... wishing someone well , or praying for someone should never be considered bad
even if people dont believe prayer works why not simply put down their good wishes rather than debating whether it works or not
better still why not just not say anything
i didnt see the prayer request but my thoughts are with your friend xx

Yes, I would say that is lame to say the least.

I don't believe in prayer, but -- please! This *is* the R/S board; I would say that talk of prayer, even requests for, should fall well within guidelines.

On the Gay & Lesbian forum there are many impersonators and questions filled with slurs and hatred. I tried to lighten the hateful mood one evening by asking folks to stop slinging nastiness for a few minutes and tell me what they were planning for the evening.

I got reported. The haters went on hating unabated.

It goes that way sometimes, I guess.

Because they're bitter little people. I saw another poster that said your post getting pulled was in the guidelines??? How is that?? Heaven forbid Christians try to talk about what they believe, but let Atheists come on here and spread their "intelligence" around- now that's ok. Give me a break.

Chill out... count to ten... it will be okay. Not everyone will agree with your faith and what is or isn't a violation. I agree that it stinks, but the beauty of yahoo!answers is everyone gets their opinion known.

Pray for the person that red flagged you. maybe they are going through a difficult time right now.

Keep the faith!!

God blesses those who are persecuted because they live for God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God blesses you when you are mocked and persecuted and lied about because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted, too.
Matthew 5:10-12

God Bless You.

I'm sorry that someone did that to you. It was mean and uncalled for. I would never do that to someone who is just asking for help from those who are of the same faith. I am an atheist, but I'm not mean like that. Someone reported me on Friday for just talking about a song.

I happen to like prayer requests. Why does YA think it is wrong, when they let a lot of garbage slip through?

I get reported all the time simply for stating my position, or for asking questions people don't like that are legitimate R&S questions. Perhaps you are not one of those guilty of the campaign against atheists here. If not, you have your Christian brethren to thank for riling us up.
