Has anybody ever poured (accidentally or on purpose) coke over instant coffee granuals? What is going on?

Carbon dioxide is being released from the cola as it reacts with the coffee.

No. But I know that Mentos and Diet Coke make quite a mess. Does coffee and Coke make an interesting reaction?

no but if you get a two liter of coke a drop a couple mentos in it, it will shoot up like a fountain. Kids find it entertaining.

no, but Coke has a drink called Blak that is coke with an essence of coffee.
