I find it funny how born again christians get all lumped into one category. The category most common is hypocritical. For the record, not all are like that and for the few that are, there should not be a common label put on the rest. Being born again I know I am not perfect. I am not "without sin". It is not my place to judge anyone. There is only one that can do that and I am certainly not him. Anyone can be a hypocrite. It is very easy. You tell someone not to do something while in your privacy, you do it yourself. So, my point is because of the few that cast judgement and are too legalistic don't label all christians the same. For the most part the christians I know, know the worst that I ever was and still accept me for who I am. Not all are bad. It's interesting....the Bible states to treat others like you would like yourself treated. Christians wonder why they are judged so poorly by others......maybe if Christians showed more love than judgement it would be different.

I hate the fact that a lot of us are labeled as hypocritical but some of it is our own fault when we get saved we try to condem everyone to hell and we seem to forget Christ basic principal "Love" we do not have to accept everything but we should love everyone that takes me to the point that some of us are so critical that when we mess up ( and we will) people jump at the chance to get back at u s word to the saints Love everyone and teach the word but als o teach forgivness becasue even the cheifess of sinners will respond to that

You just did, many times. Born Again Christian, by the way is a supercilious redundancy. I no longer want to be called a Christian, let alone "Born Again", because of the atrocities perpetrated by people who have called themselves either. And now I, too, have ranted enough.

Your question, the first and last 2 statements. Lest you think I am apostate, I'm not. Jesus made it clear that we can't avoid making judgments, but we can do so lovingly.
I have judged you, and I will be judged with the same ruler I used on you. You have judged me, and you will be judged with the same ruler you applied to me. This is a universal truth which flows out of the Golden Rule.

You are right......christians do not show much love....especially here in the USA. And, they tend to ignore other denominations. They accept most of them, just calling it a different interpretation. But, being Born Again, is a personal thing. It means you have become aware that God knows you, wants you and forgives you. He then gives you His Spirit to help you make decisions. Is there not a secular saying "Your life is the sum of the choices you make"? People will show that they are born again by how they are, alot of people won't show much of it because they have alot to be worked out, and alot of people don't show it because they think saying there is a God is enough..... being born again is just a state of mind. Sorry for them. And non believers as well. They can show much more love, but it doesn't help them in the end.

All born again Christians are unique, peculiar, etc... They are the same in that they are all children of God, reborn in their spirit. They can pray to God in spirit & truth 24/7. All are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

Who is he that overcomes? He that is born of God. What is our victory? Our Faith.

Born again Christians are at different Christian ages, from babies up and at different maturities and some are just carnal. God disciplines his own. All born of God Christians cannot abide in sin (make it a comfortable habit) because of the Holy Seed within. Christians need to confess their sins to God when they do sin though. God promises to make them right.

I know several born again Christians and as much as I dislike their beliefs I have to give them credit for involving themselves in charity work for the homeless etc. Their beliefs in my opinion are misguided but they make an effort to help others so I couldn't accuse them of hypocrisy.
