one of my girls friends told me that my best guy friend likes me but the only problem is that i'm not really sure if he does. i think i might like him too but i'm not really sure if he like me, his behavoir around me is basically the same and he still does the same goofy things that make me laugh. does he really like me? and if he does will dating him mess up our friendship?

Being someones friend is key in a relationship, sounds to me like the hard part is past you. He makes you laugh and you enjoy his company. He's probably feeling the same way too. Sit down and have a heart to heart with him and let him know your true feelings...

Take a glimpse at him: when he does those "goofy things" that make you laugh, does he also reap the reward of your laughter? Does he seem pleased for putting yet another smile on your face? Does he find (almost) any excuse to be around you, for as long as possible? If yes, there's your answer !
But before doing anything, make sure you know what your feelings are; thinking you "might like" him it's not good enough...
Friendship is a strong foundation for an intimate relationship. This is the truth that escapes to so many...
I've got my share of the infamous phrase "wanting more than what we have will mess up our friendship and us as well"... It did mess me up to some extend, but I've reached a conclusion: when such things go wrong is either because there actually was nothing to mess up (no friendship, because there was no honesty), or because one was much too selfish to embrace the personality of the other...
Think it thoroughly, with your mind and with your heart, before you do something. And be honest with each other. That's my advice... Take care !

If he cares, and some times stares at you with widen eyes ,and if he still remembers many little things about you.Than don't hesitate just ask for a date...........
