Before applying the relaxer part hair and apply a hair dressing to her scalp, be very careful not scratch the scalp. You can use anything for fine hair. Or a no-lye product. Try Revlon Realistic or Dr. Miracles Relaxers.

Wow as a hair stylist I just think thats not a good idea at all. You could chemically burn your daughter very easily. Especially since you are saying she has a sensitive scalp. For the benefit of your daughter, go to a salon. Make some phone calls and find a good price.

Hair relaxers are notoriously harsh. They can ruin your hair and eat your scalp.

The same results can be obtained by using a perm solution instead. You would just comb the curls out of the hair while the solution is in the hair. And I have found that curling the hair over large rollers (2 inches across) also helps to keep the hair as straight as possible, while at the same time ensuring the hair has some "body".

Nobody "needs" a relaxer. Especially with a sensitive scalp. That is child abuse lady!!!

It's a perm out called QP for sensitive scalp.
