Isaiah 55:8-9

8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

If only people would remember this when they try to explain away everything!!
And to the LDS poster above talking of Moroni, you need to read the articles in the link below on LDS. Smith was a false prophet. Remember in the Bible it says,
Ecclesiastes 1:9
9The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

There were no new revalations or prophecies to be made. The same goes with Islam.

I've always thought that Moroni 10:3-5 was particularly powerful.

3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

I believe at different points in our lives, every scripture can be very powerful. If I underlined every verse in Bible that spoke to me in a powerful sense, I think almost every verse would be underlined. God has a way of pulling out an amazing truth every time I read the Bible.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

I think the most beautiful is in Job right after God asks Job where he was when God laid down the foundations of the earth. Then God goes on to describe all the beautiful and wonderful things he made. The imagery is awesome (especially in NIV)

Jeremiah 29:11-13
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity."

Romans10:9 "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

PS There is no book in the Bible called moroni

Jeremiah 29:11.
"For I know my thoughts to you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope."
It was written to the captives in Babylon, telling them not to give up but prosper the place and prosper in there. Very inspiring indeed, if you follow the Bible and realise that we are in a big Babylon now.

Acts 2:17
"Your young men will see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams"
I had a revalation on that too. and a few times while praying, some verses just comes up to my mind telling me wat to do on certain situations.

Matthew 22:36-38 (New King James Version)

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and great commandment.
