Yes I went there and one other Davids Bridal. I found both to be a horrible experience. In Frisco the service was horrible one minute ignored the next being inundated with completely innappropriate dresses. I was underserved and at the same time felt suffucated. That is a talent. I ended up going with a custom dress maker in Lewisville.

No, but I have been to the one in Lewisville and it felt like a bridal factory where I did not get one minute of personal attention and was lucky to get a sales person's attention at all. The bridesmaid dresses felt cheaply made and their prices aren't that better than other designer dresses at regular stores. If you really want to be treated well, I suggest the Lewisville Bridal Boutique - small town feel, huge selection of dresses in every price range, and wonderful customer service. I have felt at home with them since the beginning and my other friend had the same experience. Google them if interested.

no but I went to the one in southaven, ms, and that was the rudest woman I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I never once got to even look at the dresses myself, she brought me 3 and was pissed because I hadn't found the one I wanted after her top 3 picks! She was so obviously desparate for a sale it was ridiculous. She also told my mom that she couldn't be in charge that day. Not to mention, they made me put on the bra thing, which i didn't want to do, and she had to be the one to fasten it, and wouldn't let my mom help zip me up, I don't know about you, but I am not comfortable with some strange woman seeing me in my underwear. Her name was Quincetta or something like that and I frankly hope she reads this! I just love how she pissed off my aunt (aka, the mayors wife) who was with us too, b/c we were looking for flower girl dresses for her daughter.....I have never in my life been more disapointed in a store! I also thought the 3 dresses she let me try on looked very mass-produced! Anyway, thats my take on Davids Bridal, I like to let everyone I know how I feel about it! Glad you had a good experience!

I have never had a decent experience with David's Bridal. I always recommended my brides to use someone else.
The staff is rude and snotty and up-itty.
In my own wedding I was looking for bridesmaid's dresses and one of my bridesmaids was pregnant. The people at David's made her feel fat and ugly. They kept asking her is she was having twins because they "had never seen someone so large unless it was twins!"
I felt they were way over priced for such poor customer service.
Edit: Mine was the one in Memphis too. Bridal Collections was way better.

It's funny you say that, because I was at the David's Bridal in East Brunswick, NJ and they were AWFUL. my best friend got her dress there and had nothing but problems. The dress was altered incorrectly many, many times and then it had stains on it, and then the bustle that they did was really bad. They were awful. Just thought you should know. But, I'm glad that the one in Frisco was great! Just be careful.

Is this supposed to be an ad for DB?
Well you haven't pulled the wool over my eyes.
The one I went to (and never will again) was absoultely retched.
*The staff was rude and dismissive. (They told us to find what we wanted and didn't want to help in the selection, and they were taking other customers while handling us, which you won't find at a normal bridal salon.)
*The staff was unknowledgable.
*The selection was really poor.
*The dresses were made of cheap fabric and were poorly made (and cost the same as dresses at other shops).
*They made my friend (the bride) cry.
You must have been lucky because I have heard some real HORROR stories of DB on this message board.

Fascinating answers...I'm in shock, really.
I have just recently been to David's in San Jose, CA. One of the recent appointments was just after visiting the snobby store down the road.
Every time I have been in to David's, the staff have been courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I have never - not for one millisecond - been made to feel anything but welcome and as if my opinion as the customer was the only thing that mattered.

I've had mixed results with the DB here in Memphis. Some locations were better than others. But the After Hours here screwed everything up with the tuxedos.

not to the one in texas, i've been to the one in wisconsin and hated it. just be sure you get your dress busseled. they never told me i needed to have that done until 2 months before my wedding when I brought a bridesmaid in to learn how and found out my dress didnt have a bussel yet! Made me so mad. Because they busseled it when I tried it on, but they said that they just pinned it. Grrr.... David's bridal... Makes me so mad just thinking about my experiences. Yeah, that is only one.
