Kittens need worming no matter what.
It's for the benefit of their health.
You could get a kitten that already has worms before you even bring it home, they can sometimes get worms form their mothers too.
Worms will prevent the kitten from absorbing nutrience from the food that it eats....it can become malnourished & emaciated.
It's not worth the risk!

All kittens are born with worms, so yes, they need to be wormed to get rid of the initial infestation.
After they have been wormed, it's up to you whether or not you want to worm them as a precaution if they're indoor cats.
Remember that indoor cats can get worms. If they eat a flea, catch and eat a mouse in your home, pick up worms from a dog, etc. So your best bet is to have all of your animals on a prevention medication like Frontline Plus, Revolution, or Advantage.

Yes they do.Deworming is very important since some types of worms can be transmitted to humans. Kittens should be dewormed at 4,6 & 8 weeks of age and then routinely after that until they are a year old. After that a yearly stool sample should be tested if they are indoor only cats, more often if they are outdoor.
Also make sure to use Frontline or Advantage on your kittens to prevent fleas. Even though indoor only they can still get fleas.Fleas can hook a ride on your clothing/shoes and be brought into the house. Fleas carry tapeworms. (people can't get tapeworms from their cats, but they can get roundworms & hookworms).

They need worming no matter what! Kittens always have worms and must be de-wormed regularly. If not, the worms continue to reproduce and live in the gut of the kitten, it is bad for the kitten and bad for you. It would be very un-hygienic for everyone who lived in the house.Get the vet to worm her a.s.a.p.

Yes, cats get worms from ingesting fleas. Fleas can easily make it into your house. It's a pretty nasty thing when they get it too. They drop them all over your house! Do you want to take that risk of having worms falling out of your cat's rear-end wherever it goes? Don't think so! Spend a few bucks and have it de-wormed!

YES!
my cats both needed worming. One was a kitten from my friend, one we found outide. Worms are bad for your cat so be sure to have the vet check for them..especially if your cat is skinny
