Archie Moore's KO of Yvon Durelle was a classic. Jake LaMotta also scored a come from behind last round KO in a title fight. Same with JC Chavez, controversially, over a spent Meldrick Taylor.
I like Marlon Starling's title winning effort over Mark Breland. That was a sign of veteran composure.

Baz 31 ~
Thanks for the great question. In my opinion, there have been so many great come from behind fights, ones that I seen on video and ones that I watched live on national TV. There have been a few that were right up there with in my opinion the greatest come from behind victory in boxing. First the runners up.

1) LaMotta vs Dauthille

2) Michael Moore vs Burt Cooper

3) Gatti vs Rodriguez

4) Toney vs Nunn

5) Chavez vs Taylor

these are my top five, but the greatest come from behind victory has to be Mike Weaver's September 21, 1980 knockout of "Big" John Tate in Knoxville Tennessee. Tate was totally dominating the fight, he was slapping weaver around like a human ping pong ball. The fight was so lopsided that even the announcers started talking about "Bowling" during the fight. Then in the 15th round, out of no where, Mike Weaver lands this huge Lefthook that sends Tate face first to the canvas and the fight is over. Truly the greatest comeback of all time.
Thanks Baz 31.

In 1958 Archie Moore nearly lost his title to Yvon Durelle who had Archie down 3 times in the first round and once in the 4th before rallying to win by 7th round kayo. That has to be one of the greatest comebacks ever. Also Matthew Saad Muhammad made a stirring and unforgettable comeback against Marvin Johnson.

I am surprised no one's mentioned Jose Luis Ramirez's 4th rd TKO over Edwin Rosario in their second fight to claim the WBC lightweight title. Ramirez was floored twice by Rosario and looked to be in big trouble in the 2nd round. (Ramirez admitted he was badly hurt in that round). But he rocked Rosario with a pair of uppercuts in rd 3, then unleashed a furious barrage of punches toward the end of rd 4 that left Rosario helpless in the corner with his back to Ramirez before referee Steve Crosson stopped the bout at the 2:52. A great fight.

Archie Moore vs. Yvon Durelle I and Mathew Saad Muhammad vs. Marvin Johnson II. Moore down 4 times comes back to knock Durelle out in the 11th round. Saad Muhammad badly cut and in jeopardy of the doctor or referee stopping the fight goes out and hits Johnson with an avalanche of punches and knocks him out in the 8th round.

Everybody's forgetting Corrales' two knockdown comeback against Castillo in their first fight.
And also forgetting Iran Barkley's comeback against Thomas Hearns in their first fight. Barkley was cut to ribbons by Hearns in the first two rounds. So much so that he required plastic surgery afterwards. At the end of the second, Barkley's corner told him he needed to knock Hearns out in the third, or the fight would be stopped.
He did just that.
