I don't mind talking to someone, but I hate when handsome strangers dont get the hint that I am NOT single and I don't want to go out with them for a drink, to dinner or anything else like that.

romance stories and movies would lead men to believe that we are all awaiting a tall dark handsome man to walk up and talk to us, flirt and eventually sweep us off our feet.

Some women welcome those advances
Others are a bit gunshy due to past issues
Others still have restraining orders in place and having someone stalk you around a store until they get the nerve to ask you out will surely end in tall handsome man going to ER after having been maced.
Word to the wise - learn a little something about the girl before you approach.

People are people. I am not looking for good looking guys because I have a husband. But I will talk to people guy or girl. I don't look at people for what they look like. It is what they know or can help me with or I can help them with.

give the guy a break.....he's just trying to get into your pants......if you don't want that, just tell him that you don't like handsome people talking to you.....ask him if he has any ugly friends......that should get a laugh.......

how else do you meet people? It doesn't bother me who talks to me...I can always use another friend at the very least...and you never know where a simple conversation will lead.......

i actually hate to be 'hit on' or whatever you call it. idk why but i find it to be kinda dirty, haha not the right word. but still. becuase most guys when they are hitting on you they want to get you in bed they dont want to sit down and have a convorsation with you
i know thats not the scenario in all cases..but most it is.
