I've spoken with God, all real Christians talk with Him every day. Granted, He doesn't tend to give us specific instructions anymore, but I think that's more due to our disbelief than anyone else's unbelief. But for me, His replies are usually in the form of a thought, a dream, and very rarely, aloud. More often than not, His replies are in the form of other people.

I believe that the Biblical accounts of God communicating with people are accurate; however, in most cases the Bible doesn't explain exactly how the communication took place. Whatever the case, God did present Himself to them in one form or another.
In your example, I thought that God already gave the people a "last chance". The only people who would have been allowed on that ark were Noah and his family, regardless of whether or not anyone thought he was crazy. God's mind was made up. Someone correct me if I'm wrong - but I thought God had already made His judgement by the time construction of the ark had begun.

1) Depends on who it is and the context around the claim. 2) Faith. 3) Perhaps, but only for sure if I was too proud to consider that maybe I didn't have all the answers myself. 3) God has always spoken through His prophets. What mankind does with this information is entirely up to us.

Interesting question. In every christian religion they are big on baptisms either when your a baby or 8 (like my religion says). Like people the earth is special. have you ever thought about the relationship between your baptism and the earths baptism? and when the reserection comes the world will be in flames right that is the same as comfirmation or a blessing.

If they had been one of God's children, they would have known. Besides, all that they had to do was get on board the ark and they too would have been saved. If it had been a fake, they could have out lived the shame.

"The most preposterous notion that H. sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does not receive this flattery." Robert A. Heinlein

Is this God's idea of justice?
You and God will discuss "justice", I'm sure.
You'll get it first hand. You won't have to rely on 2nd hand info.
