I live in Scotland and the moon was still visible in the sky at 8am this morning (I saw it while driving to work). As I understand these things the moon should be visible in late afternoon, but that is if you are quite northern so it all depends on your location. We are now in autumn so the earth axis had tilted more.

Hope this helps !

With a torch in you pocket
and the wind at your heels
you climbed on the ladder
and you know how it feels
you get too high , too far , too soon ,
You saw the whole of the moon ,
The whole of the moon

the moon is out everynight until it's a new moon. I believe that it's going on full in two days so you should have A LOT of moon light to prove you've seen the moon.
Blessed Be.

You are a Hindu lady, apparently. Every year the Hindus get access to a 'Jantri' for the year, that is , the Almanac for the whole year. That provides all the details.
