Cardio will cause you to sweat. Lifting weights if not done in quick sets will not cause you to sweat. Most guys lift too heavy and don't do enough repetition. They also do not do enough cardio. He should do 10 to 20 minutes of cardio before lifting. Then he would burn fat through out his lifting and get better definition. He should also focus on form. It is better to lift light weight with perfect form then to lift heavy weight with no form. This will only result in an injury. You actually build muscle when you sleep. So get plenty of rest. Women tend to do two hours of cardio and no weight training. This is also useless. You are burning muscle and not fat. You will only become weak doing this. So strike a balance and eat right. This is the most important thing. Some people also sweat less but that is not good maybe he is not drinking enough water. Drink 5 to 10 glasses daily. You will be surprised at the difference in your weight and complexion.

I lift weights 4 or 5 times a week and I never sweat...I sweat though everytime I run and it is just because doing cardio type stuff makes your heart rate go up and makes you hotter so you will sweat.

Very good to sweat. Lifting weights is not cardio. Cardio makes you sweat faster and more. Lifting weights is a different type of exercise targeting one muscle group...so you don't overexert the whole body causing profuse sweating.

Normal is actually whats normal for you. I am similar and don't sweat a lot until I stop exercising and take a break. Each persons body responds differently when it starts to get overheated. People who don't start sweating right away do have to watch that they don't overheat

I think it is a good sign to sweat. Some people don't sweat when they lift weights. Sweating is good because it gets some of the toxins that are in your body, out.

its no longer as plenty how plenty you sweat in comparison on your coronary heart value and the place this is at. they say that in case you're at 80% of your max coronary heart value, then you certainly are doing good in burning fat. to locate your max coronary heart value, minus your age by potential of 240. ex. in the experience that your 30 you minus that against 240 and get 210 as your max coronary heart value. then locate out what 80% of this is which effects being 168. so as that would want that might actually assist you out. one clarification why you won't be sweating is which you're no longer very hydrated, or biologically conversing, it is not on your genes. some people sweat, and others dont and its truly no longer that great of a situation.

Sweating is great for your body. Thats why drinking alot of water is beneficial so that you dont dehydrate during a workout.
Sweating is your body's major way of getting rid of excess body heat, which is produced by metabolism or working muscles. The amount of sweat produced depends upon our states of emotion and physical activity.

Sweating is healthy. It realeases all the bad chemicals in your body. Drinking lots of water to sweat more, is healthy. I was told that a person in shape sweats easier than one who dosent workout, hard to believe but i geuss it deals with a runner who runs on a treadmill everyday. When they just stand infront of a treadmill thier body starts to burn calories.
