Depends on what you're serving it with...I add herbs like tarragon, parsley or dill...great on fish and chicken. You can also add meats like browned and drained sausage or dried beef and serve on noodles or biscuits.

Lasagne is much lighter and tastier made with white sauce (bechamel) instead of a firm, sturdy ricotta filling. Lasagne (fresh if possible, the no-boil kind otherwise), bechamel, grated mozzarella (or sliced fresh mozzarella), a little grated parmesan, a light fresh-tasting tomato sauce, lots and lots of shredded fresh basil, = the best lasagne on the planet.

Haven't you heard of Bernaise sauce, you can add anything your heart desires to a white sauce which is one of the "Mother Sauces" like Hollandaise. Try Avocado Bernaise over a grilled or broiled steak, ooohhhh yum

Pretty much anything! Parsley, or other herbs, onions, mushrooms, tomato purée, veggies - the possibilities are endless. White sauce is like a blank canvas - just add whatever you like, and whatever goes with what you're serving it with/on.

White sauce is the base for hundreds of sauces. You can add any seasoning to it and make many different sauces. The white sauce, called bechemel, can be turned into anything. Use your imagination.

Any herbs and spices you like! My mother used to served white sauce over salmon loaf (Yum!), or cooked veggies.

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. Therefore as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.
