Pacific Rim Dry Reisling. Extremely smooth. Didn't find it to be oaky or soapy tasting.

I worked in a restaurant once and had the great fortune to be part of a wine tasting.
St Joseph 1971 was amazing. This really crusty cork came out, and the taste was ok, but 10 mins later it was out of this world. That stuck in my mind. Also a Louis Roederer Crystal Champagne was delicious about £50 a bottle I think.
I would really like to be in Paris for the big wine Auction at the Mares house where they are auctioning off a massive collection created for President Chirac, it represents all the best wines of France. Wow!!!!

Vintana Reisling and Oriel Rias Braxias. Also try a good Palatina.

I like Louis Jadot - Beaujolais Villages.

The price varies alto depending on many things....but around 30 a bottle at a liquor store.

Alto Adige - Santa Margarita is enjoyable too.
