get a job, if you are under 14 or what ever the age law is in your state/country you can babysit, lemonade stand, car wash, buy and sell things, start a buisness, and you can beg people for money, it works, just act like your poor, and wear really old clothes and people will feel sorry for you, and give you money. If you are under age make sure you don't get caught by your parents doing that. they tend to get a little mad if you do it.

I'm not exactly sure of your situation; that is to say is this for a group or just yourself? If it is a group one thing I have seen is two groups partnering for an event. For example at a horse show over the summer one group ran the show while the other ran the concession stand.
Another thought: Scrap metal drive. This can be done more passively, managed with fewer people and can raise some good money. Aluminum cans for example are made of a very high grade of aluminum. Start bringing them in by the bag full and you could get some halfway decent money for them. Even more if you are in a state that collects deposits.

The conventional thought if you are asking about raising money for college....is that at the end when you have a degree in hand, that the money you spent for college will be made back with more ease because you will have a better job. My thoughts have always been, go to school, take loans and then make sure that I do well and get a good job after. So my advice is not to raise money, and not to sweat a little college debt. Take out loans. Stafford is the best, but if not, go for private. Try http://www.thinkfinancial.com
they are easy to work with. And you won't have to pay it back until after you are out and pressumably have a better job then before you went in. Good luck.

1. You can get some financial aid for going abroad- just ask your Study Abroad offices to help you.

2. You can get student loans top help- the place I like is http://www.studentaidlending.com. They have really great customer service skills. Or I can help you if you want to email me at toryforpresident@yahoo.com

3. Lastly, you could get a real job. Waitressing/bartending sucks but it pays well depending on where you do it at.
