I came across a comment that people who don't support illegal immigration are xenophobic? See below.

"*Its about a small group of xenophobic's who want NO immigrants, legal or illegal, and hide behind this issue of illegal immigration, to satisfy their fear of people from different cultures and countries coming over here and 'taking' over.......

Its all based on fear..... "*

I don't support illegal immigration for my own reasons, First of all, I have the rights to have an opinion, So that is mine and also, it is against the law.

What i want to know is are you people who don't support illegal immigration xenophobic & what do you think of that comment above of people who don't support illegal immigration being xenophobic?

Angela R, i wasn't going to point out that it was you who actually made the comment in the first place,
So i guess you believe everyone on here is racist or xenophobic, With the exception of yourself, Your royal highness.
It's called having an opinion, If you can't do that without saying everyone who disagrees with you is [QUOTE] Racist or Xenophobic you need to grow up.

No its not based on fear. Thats a tactic that amnesty supporters use when they run out of logic.

You are xenophobic because you know full well that the only reason to demand all immigrants be legal is to limit their numbers below what the unrestricted labour market would allow. By supporting restrictive borders, you are making world poverty a lot worse. Shame on your selfishness. America was founded on the idea of sharing the land, and if the original inhabitants didn't want to, they were always forced to.

If the borders were open to all workers, then there would be no excuse to be illegal, and I doubt anyone except a criminal would remain illegal.

I think that notion is ridiculous. The question is "Are these people breaking the law?" What does illegal mean? America has always welcomed legal immigration. I f this were not so, lots of us would not be here now. I was a contractor who hired anglos. Other contractors hired illegals, paid them low wages and beat my prices by half. If people want to call me Xenophobic, they have small minds and are not capable of seeing the big picture.

I don't know if I am xenophobic or not, if wanting the law to be obeyed is xenophobic then I guess I am. I don't ask for anything other than the law to be obeyed. Whey is there even a question about this?

I am not anti-illegal immigration, nor am I xenophobic. My own Dad is a (legal) immigrant.

first of all lets get facts straight, the us had some failed policies in latin countries that supported and still support dictators, and stimulated torture, (big surprise) in other words it creates an ambiance of live and make other people misserable. so where do u think people will come for some security and peace?
we have created this and now we are bitching, i dont know how old u r, or if you remember el salvador and nicaragua, and guatemala. but these were countries involved in some of the worst torture and killings of all time, much like iraq, now the question is if we get a flood of illigal immigrants from iraq
who the ******** are you to ***** about it, we are also making their lives misserable and we are directly responsible, so shut the **** up, and get your facts straight, a

I don't think much of that comment at all. These pro-illegal folks want to call us all xenophobic, racist, etc. Just ignore them. They are on the wrong side of the argument.

It's called a diversion, every time they run out of stuff to say they keep referring to You the person against immigration as a racist or something of that nature.

I like diversity and all that comes with it. America would be boring without it. I do not support amnesty for illegal aliens, and that is not xenophobia, bigotry, or racism cloaked behind patriotism.

Oh please, I see so many hateful racist statements here, from xenophics/racists, its not even funny.....You hide behind the 'illegal' argument and most can see through your racism....And for many, it has nothing to do with upholding the law....

Xenophic:

The term is typically used to describe fear or dislike of foreigners or in general of people different from one's self.

Oh so your saying people who call Mexican's w e t b a c k, spics, anchor babies, breeders, etc. are not xenophic? I have been called those things and I am a US citizen....How do you explain that, dear?

There are some crazy people that are, but the majority of us just expect people to obey the law and go through the proper legal channels.
