I say "gut". I'm 33 years old, mother of a 13 month old. I refer to my gut when I'm full, "Oh my GUT is soooooooo full !", wanting to punch someone in the gut when I'm irritated, refer to roadkill "I saw a cat with it's guts all over the road" etc.

LOL! why?

nope, never use the word unless I'm talking about "gut piles" that are left behind by hunters. This is relevant because the said gut piles can contain lead shot which in turn poisons some animals, like the endangered California condor. You asked! :)
