Does aloe vera have antiseptic or antibacterial properties?

I want to use it on acne and was just wondering...

Just antiseptic. If you are looking for antibacterial properties try using tea tree oil. You can use it straight or mix it into your favorite facial lotion.

wont do you much good but it is good for the skin. just not antibacterial...
