There's this new Herbal Essence shampoo in a funky blue bottle called "Hydrating Shampoo" and Conditioner, I advise that you keep in the conditioner for 5 minutes then gently rinse, and try to look into other moisturizing shampoos and conditioners out their. Maybe a hot oil treatment? Good luck!! If all else fails ask a hair stylist or your doctor.

oh, that's painful, poor kid! I have a friend in her 40s who has the same problem, and has since a child. She keeps her hair cut fairly short and uses BioSilk which is very oily. Also, she doesn't try to comb it much, that seems to make it more crispy! Just pick it out a little and revel in the curls, which isn't easy for a child, I know. (My friend is Italian, she says all her mother's side of the family had that hair.)

Try sunsilk it is color coordinated and there is a type made for dry, kinky hair. You can get it at walmart or walgreens. Trust me I have " hair that gets poofy as it dries" and I got sunsilk, it is THE BEST EVER(after pantene pro-v).

You need to apply a great hair dressing to her hair and scalp and message it in. You can apply a light heat pressing comb to help straighten it out if you don't want to relax it. Add a oil sheen to her hair before styling.

use a mild kiddie shamppoo on her.. dont use too many chemicals on her baby hair!! OIL her hair often! use olive oil , coconut oil or mustard oil.. leave it on overnight and wash it off with shampoo in the mornin! it works better than any moistureizer!
