Long story short, my crush knows I like him, but now thinks I don't.He said to his friends he liked me and I am hot but he did not want to go with anybody in the freshmen year.He got dumped over summer.I have a homecoming this saturday, I have no date, but I know some boys are gonna ask me, but I only want to go with him.If he dosent ask me, should I ask him?

Hi, Im gonna give you some advise from a guys point of view. Ok, an older guys point of view as Im 38. But Ive been there. Girls at your age are much more mature than the guys are. Although most wont admit it even to themselves. Taking into account that this is the guys shy, awkward time and hes already been rejected only a couple of weeks ago... I say you need to make the first move if you want him. Clearly hes not gonna ask you out. If he really does think your hot then after you ask him, he'll say yes, youll part and from behind the boys bathroom door youll hear him shout Woo-Hoo! Hope I helped. Mike

May as well learn this lesson now as at any time - if you want something in life, you have to go for it!!! Opportunities don't always fall into your lap - you have to make them. Take the chance! If he says no, you will at least know that you gave it your very best. Be strong, become self-confident, get some backbone in your life - go for what makes you happy. I think you should ask him. I mean most guys like it when the girl asks. I asked my boyfriend to marry me! And he was so shocked happy but shocked. Maybe that boy is waiting for you to ask maybe hes shy so go ahead. All else fails go with whats in your heart.
