What do you users think of long distance relationship??
You see, I met this girl when I was in Hong Kong, we went out like
twice and then to a hotel together, even after going back to
Canada, I still call her everyday and talk for 3 hours or so. She is a
traditional chinese girl if you know what I mean. We make so
much plans about the future when I go back to Hong Kong next
year. I don't know if I am going back but I sure as hell try........what
about you users? Any experience that you know of or can share??

I forgot to mention, Hong Kong wasn't my vacation. It is my country so basically I was going back to my country. I know my country well and I have family there, hope that helps.

I met an Italian girl in Monte Carlo But found out that she too lived in England!! Quality!!
Anyway She lived 200 miles south of me in London but we saw each other every weekend
one weekend i,d drive down, the next she,d drive up.
We never missed 1 single weekend in 2 years.
I gave up my job & family & moved south ( still keeping my house)
So we now have 2 houses & soon plan to buy a 3rd in the south of France.
Ive been in London 2 & a half years now , have retrained & we are to be married next year in 1 of King Henry VIII,s castles.
So you see it can work !! its up to you both

You cannot even suppose to know someone after a couple dates in another country.... You might have totally differnet ideas about life....
By talking on the phone you can exchange pleasantries and find out about each other... But living in a place and trying to make a living and having a relationship is totally different from vacation....Consider her as a friend from afar...
It is doomed for failure when you two are strangers and making all kinds of plans that might never come about... Nice fantasy but not reality...
By the way if she is a traditional Chinese girt, her parents would have chaperoned her and you wouldn't have been sharing a room in a hotel.......
