Realize that they're not "fooling themselves" and don't need you to tell them how to live... and then just treat them like a normal human being.

You might try relating to him or her on a mundane, human level rather than a spiritual level. I'm pagan and I have many Christian friends who can relate to me. After all, we have a lot in common. We have family and health related things we can talk about. We have interests we share. We share stories about work. We just avoid the topics of religion and politics (where we don't agree anyway) in respect for one another. Relating is about respect, setting aside any self-righteousness, and finding common ground. Good luck!

I know what you mean, but just be kind to them & show them that even though they don't have the same beliefs
as you , you still care about them.

I know how you feel, I am a Christian & work w/
a lot of people who are not, they make fun of me &
call me a goody 2 shoes, but I know that I am acting
how God/Jesus would want me to & that's what matters
the most.
Be an example of Jesus to them & when the going gets
tough they will wonder why you remain calm & want
to know how, then you can tell them because you
have Jesus in your life & he helps you (us) through
the hard times.
take care & stay strong

It's helpful to realize that we're ALL the children of God, no matter color, ethnicity, or even religion. But the best example of how to relate to a non-Christian is to befriend them the way that Jesus did. Remember how He ate with gentiles, tax-collectors, and prostitutes.

this sounds like a judgemental question. accept all people as equals. what difference does it make what religion they are. if you are a Christian, you need to be a christian and accept all people, not start off with a wall between you wondering how you will relate.

Try relating to them as a human being. Can you do that?

Because we all came from the same father and have the same feelings, emothions, fears and questions. Some of us just handle things differently from others. Remember love thy neighbor.

By being who you are. If all that defines you is your religion, than I would definitely say that you need help. Talk about something other than religion. It's not that hard if you try.

I really hope this question is a joke.

It's not that hard. Talk to them. Be nice. Be respectful. They're people, after all.

They are just people and Gods kids so we have to treat them just like you would like to be treated nicely with respect and understanding.
