They are improving but beating France was just a flash in the pan.

No, it's not a "flash in the pan." They've done well against mediocre sides including France when they're mediocre themselves. They'll most definately qualify for Euro 2008 and will do better than England in there. Italy and Scotland will qualify from
the group.

Sounds like we have some bitter english on the replies, i suppose MACEDONIA are world beaters after all. The Scotland team is definately improving all we were needing was a bit of team spirit brought back by walter and a bit of belief by getting rid of Berti and getting the country behind the team again, so no it wasnt a flash in the pan, we defended well and took our chance they didnt, thats all that counts. As England saw on Saturday if you dont take your chances you dont win football matches !!!!

We have a flash in the pan every time a big team comes to Scotland - we have recently beaten Holland and drawn with Italy and Germany. The trouble is away games against second rate eastern european teams that usually lets us down.

Underdogs always triumph when scotland are playing.

Dick Advocaat once said it is not always the best team that wins. France have much better individual players than Scotland and in the first half in particular it looked like it was going to be a romp. Scotland under Walter Smith understand their weaknesses and he has them playing for each other with great passion and pride. Scotland are not going to win Euro 2008 and in fact if they qualify that will be a major feat but they have their pride back and once again it is great to see the Players play for the jersey.

Improving of course.
If you had said before the games began that we'd have won all 3 then I would have questioned your blind optimism.

Sure, France on paper are a far better team, but Scotland showed the heart and pride in playing for their country that was singularly lacking in England's performance.

I would love it to continue - but naturally am pessimistic - after all if you don't expect a result anything is a bonus!

Fabulous job by the guys! Yes, of course, the French were all over us & I would be gutted if I was French, but football although often about skill can be just as importantly about hard work combined with a bit of luck. Scotland came up trumphs in the hard work & luck departments & we can keep on working on the skill. No doubt the French team had way more skill but everything else deserted them on the day! Whatever happens in future games, it's brilliant to see the guys play as a unit with the passion that playing for Scotland should invoke!

We are improving but there is a long long way to go.Walter Smith has the team organised and playing like a club side.
We have some good Young players coming through.
The Scottish way is to play well against good teams but we tend to struggle against the lesser teams. The game on Wednesday is really important a draw would be a fantastic result.
3 wins from 3 games not to shabby.
