I don't know what branch I want to join but I want to get into the forces but I don't know how bad boot camp actully is. I would like for it to be as detailed as possable. Plus I had a soliocious surgery like 5 years ago, my back has never hurt nor does it hurt now. I have never had any real problems with it but they made me have the surgery saying life or death. But will they let me in with it and is it going to be a problem where it will effect the job I will have "if" I pass boot camp? Please be detailed.

Talk to a recruiter, and learn the proper name for your back surgery

Your surgery is most likely a permanent disqualifier. My advice:
Go to your doctor (not a chiropractor) and get a check up on your back (have a letter of clearance that also states "Cleared for Rigorous Military Activity), get all of your current and previous medical records together, take them to a recruiting office, have them do a DD form 2807, Medical Prescreening Form, and submit that with your full medical records, to the Military Entrance Processing Station. The doctor there will most likely disqualify you, then the recruiter will have everrything sent to the Surgeon General's office for review and approval. You can run this through each branch after you are disqualified by one or another. The first one to accept you, I would say go with and ship out quickly in case things change in the rules. Move quickly.

First make sure you will be physically certified to join the armed services. You can do this by talking to recruiters. Secondly shop around for the service you want to join. Some offer cash incentives, specific training programs for job specialties.

Ask yourself how much time you are willing to commit to the armed services. Think about doing a tour in Iraq or Afghanistan. Are you willing to take another persons life in combat?

As far as boot camp is concerned you can make it through any boot camp. The Marine Corps is the toughest ( I am a former Marine ).

Good luck in your endeavors.

Boot Camp or Basic Training is very tough
and demanding. If you have had surgery on your back, you may be disqualified. Any way, check with a doctor that specializes in back problems and see what he/she says and in the meantime, go to any Armed Forces Recruiting Station and get the information from them.

Each service has it's own requirements and it also depends on the job you will be doing in the service.
You will have an examination before your induction.
If you pass you will be assigned an induction center and you're in.
If you can not complete boot because of medical reasons you may be given a medical discharge, which is not a negative discharge.
It is not designed to eliminate you from the military, but to build you up. It finds your weaknesses and then gives you tools and ability to overcome them.
Don't worry about the boot camp.
It doesn't last forever and almost all make it through.

The Air Force and Coast Guard Boot camps are a cake walk. The Army and Marines are tough. The Navy is in between. Having this prior injury the military might not take you.

If you are really serious about boot camp then I say join the marines. Parris Island So Carolina is their boot camp for the east coast. Great training and it will get you in shape. Make sure your back is not a problem. Good luck.

Boot camp for all branches are very detailed affairs. Optimum emphasis is placed on strength of body as well as the mind. So if you even think there is a problem with your back perhaps you should reconsider your options.

I think you may be able to but of course it becomes a pre existing condition, can you run 3 miles, jump. Scolliosis can be severe or mild. You have to get a waiver to join, with letters from specialists. When you decide to join make sure you join to get a good technical skill

Up at 5 and down at 9..shining shoes all the time... Challenging but you can do it.. a lot of physical exercise, running, marching, shooting, education and so on.. and don't forget the stylish haircut.. Need to remember that due to a bunch of cry babies, they can no longer hit you or even touch you..
