Schools are funded almost entirely by property taxes in the U.S. Numerous studies have shown that, while illegal immigrants do pay fewer federal taxes than legal workers (partly because of under-the-table work, and partly because they are very low-income), they do pay property tax. After all, even if they rent, the rent includes the property tax paid by the owner.
Therefore, since they are paying into the schools, why do people complain about educating their children? They pay as much as any person living in a comparable area pays.
So, saying they cost us $ for education is simply untrue. It cost as much as any education costs, and they pay as much as anyone pays.
Right?

Wrong. Some live more people to a residence and don't pay proportionate tax. Also, much of the funds come from income tax.
PLUS having them pay as much as our POOR people pay isn't enough. Poor people don't pay their costs in education and services. We subsidize them, because they are poor. That is ok for OUR people, but we are not willing to take on the poor of the world. That is why there are limits on immigration of poor people to begin with. They are a net drain and degrade our services just that amount. 12 to 20 million of them degrade our schools and services quite a lot. Look at schools and health care in border states and areas where illegals concentrate.

Sorry, but a very small percentage of the amount of rent paid actually goes towards the landlords school tax bill.Besides,if people are receiving government help with housing, they are paying even less, the government is footing the bill yet again.
And,the schools do not want more students just to get federal funding. Most schools are already overcrowded. We just built a new middle school 2 years ago in my town,it is already filled to capacity, guess who's taxes get raised when another school has to built to make room for even more illegals, certainly not them.
I also don't appreciate that my child's classes have to be cut to find the money to pay for special classes for those who refuse to speak our language. Why should my child have to suffer to help those who are here breaking our laws.

Wrong. The article you linked to mostly addresses legal immigrants.
School funding comes from a variety of federal, state, and city money pots. About 46 percent of public spending on elementary and secondary schools is derived from local government budgets. That is harldy "almost entirely" as property taxes are counted as local, not Federal.

Angela R- you thus far have managed to blame everyone but the actual lawbreakers. it is appalling how you place blame. first it is the governments fault, then the employers, now the schools. is it ever the actual law breakers fault? at least in part? do you also believe that it is not a murderers fault? is it instead his parents fault because he had a bad childhood? or is it the governments fault because he lived in poverty and the government didn't "help" him? or maybe it is the prison systems fault because they didn't properly rehabilitate him before releasing him. this line of thinking is part of the problem. instead of holding someone accountable for their wrong doing, blame it on someone else.

No way. These illegals do not pay for education. It is amazing how many free hand outs they get from out government. Free food, clothes, rent, services, health, transportation and more. Why in the world would they want to stay in there coutry where things are tough. Take Iraquis, why would they want to stay in a country in war? Take Mexicans why would they want to stay in a country where the gornernment is corrupt and leaves the people penniless? Take the Russians, why would they want to stay in a country that has no feedom? Take the Asians, why would they want to stay in a country that is overcrowded? And so on.
Many foreigners want to come to this country to stay for the handouts, good wages, good education, good weather, freedom, beauty, friendly people and cleanliness. But we need to stop letting them come all day everyday no questions asked. We will not longer be America but a dumping ground for many countries. When does it stop? Our US born have no food, no homes, no jobs and no hope.
We educated them for free when they get here not only because americans have a good heart but we do not like our communities to have uneducated people. That is it bottom line.

Unless they go to a private school like a catholic school. Not saying if any do or don't but that would be an example of how they may pay more than your average citizen.
After seeing that thing on MSN about some cherry picker making $240 in one day it might be possible.

Wrong! They also get special grants such as minority grants. And the ones that do pay your suposed taxes usually are in such a little hole that they dont pay much because they gang together in this really small hole to avoid paying much of anything again draining the economy. While you may pay a little bit of taxes there people make up in the department of non paid taxes due to frequent hospital trips unpaid and then a change of name its sad

illegal immigrants who have children or bring children here should have to pay for their education, No doubt about it.
I spose that's like saying illegals should have came legally in the first place, it's not gonna happen.

Uh, not really. In a normal household you might have a few children or even no children and they pay for the property taxes, but in a lot of "illegal" households you might have many more children or multiple families living in one home, so really they arent paying their fair share either.
