I absolutely agree that Honesty is the one and only ingredient that will form a lasting relationship. Honesty will breed trust and once you have those two things, chances are you'll never wanna leave that partner. Oh, it helps if you're for the same political party, otherwise you'll be spending lots of time arguing!

The very worse thing anyone can do in any relationship is to expect the other person to change for you. Or that you can change them. A good sense of humor, and forgiveness, let little things go.

Understanding, repentance and forgiveness, honesty, communication. Clear, honest communication for EVERYTHING. I'm saying, if he makes a weird face and it offends you, don't give the silent treatment. Speak what bothers you, speak what makes you happy, speak it all! In conflicts or any kind of unhappy moments, always put yourself in his place to try and understand how he feels. It'll soften you up if you're just being stubborn mad, giving way to progress (All experience)

The biggest thing a relationship is dependent upon is trust. If there is no trust EVERYTHING that can be said and done is absolutely meaningless.

Have a great day!!!

So easy... .
#1 is trust
Anything after that is not as important.
Communication, laughter and lust are all very important too, but NOT NEAR as trust.

communication that's unrestricted. u can't have your feelings bottled up. u need to be able to express what u're feeling without your partner being distant, offended...etc... of course in some circumstances they will be, and it's inevitable, but they need to be able to get over it at some point. awesome sex is a big plus too.
