She's human. She'll have off days, just like the rest of us.
I doubt that she would be sensing your hormonal shift, but it is possible that you are being more sensitive because of it.

The only thing worse than a cranky 2 year old is 2 cranky 2 year olds. I had twins and for crankiness I would take them to play at the park or do something like McDonalds playland if the weather was bad. Sometimes a chance of scenery will help. Also it could just be the terrible twos and you can't really do anything about that.

try putting her down for a nap...sounds like she either didn't get enough sleep or it's just the terrible 2's starting. All you can do is try to guide her, but if she is going to insistant and fight you, then just simply tell her to calm down then you two can talk. Good luck and I wish I could say I am glad this time for me is over and done with...but it's better than dealing with a 12 yr old going through puberty!

I don't think she got enough sleep. trying putting her down for a nap. That may not be fun for her either. Put her in bed and sit near by til she falls asleep if she thinks she'll miss something by taking a nap. Otherwise, good luck, you may have a rough day ahead of you. Go outside and have her run around with a game of chase to get her tired and put miss grumpy to bed. She may wake up feeling refreshed.

Sit down with her and play games or with stuffed animals she likes-this is up to her. Set limits that she needs to talk and not fuss and you will get her what she needs (within reason) and play with the stuff she's interested in. If she likes to be read to, read her a boOK. She may just need a nap. Hard to tell, but setting limits on yelling and screaming are important: not ok, need to talk nicely. She's too young to understand that she is to treat others as she wants to be treated but she can understand not to yell. a good snack that she'd like with the play may help...maybe her blood sugar is low.

I think she saw something that upset her in the cartoon. You'd be amazed at how easy a child can get frightened. Mine was afraid of the bees in Winnie the Pooh!

You should ask her if she saw anything upsetting.

Sounds like a normal 2 year old... I tickle all of the "crabby monsters" out of all of my children. They often go into the feet, legs, underarms.. anywhere the child is tickelish

LOL!! Trust me, I'm laughing with you, not at you. Maybe she's a little sick, under the weather. Maybe she has allergy headache, but her vocabulary is not good enough to tell you this. She cannot express feeling "a little off" other than being crabby. I am empathetic to you.

Try teaching her sign language to help her communicate with you. Also try giving her a massage.
