the hair-growth secret in the pre-natal vitamins (which are major expensive) is folic acid (which isn't!) If you go to the local Walgreens or CVS or whatever you have like that where you live, you can get a bottle of folic acid and it is usually safe to double the dosage on the back; my dentist recommends it for healthy gums and to prevent fungal infections, I take 4 a day and my hair grows so fast my hairdresser can't keep it blonde! My nails also grow from cut down to nothing to toooooo long in about 2 weeks. You might want to try some stress relievers - relaxation and yoga or extra exercise to help with that. Good luck!

yes, the hair will grow back if the loss was strictly stress induced. it will take quite some time, as your hair does not grow quickly. also, you have to remember that your body was severely stressed prior to your losing hair. take lots of b vitamins to help with stress, and continue to use the topical solution. i went through this a couple years ago and it can seem like forever growing it back. you can purchase shampoos that will work similar to the topical solution that you are already using.
