The ideal way to know God is to know more and more of His Glorious Names. I have access to about 250 from primary sourced, and another thousand or so, from the secondary sources. One of the Major Name is about the fact that He alone can have pride. Absolute pride is due to Him. Therefore when a creation emulates any semblance of pride, he dares to stand as a rival unto Him. About the word: Hate chosen by you, I have yet to find a Glorious Name which introduces Him as a Person who also ' h a t e s .'

Perhaps it would help if you were to realize that your good looks may change in an instant and that they will certainly fade with time. You had nothing to do with your facial structure, it was knit together in your mother's womb by God himself.
While caring for yourself is a good thing, you might consider being thankful for the gift that God has given you instead of proud as if you had made it yourself.

It may be pride thinking that you look so good. In any case, everything we have is a challenge about how we will handle it. So, if someone is really great looking and does not get arrogant about it, thinking they are better or at least better-looking than others, they learn social skills helpful elsewhere in life.

Maybe he has read your heart and know your not prideful, plus your parents had alot to do genetic wise for your good looks.

because you should know that you'll age, and eventually die.... who ever ends up 6 feet under has no reason to be proud...
