I have studied the body fairly extensively, and do not find anywhere that it says i should not comsume any alcohol. It does say no not be drunk ( Eph 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;). the Bible actually tells us that it is acceptable to drink some wine ( 1Titus 5:23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities)
There are times when alcohol was forbidden (Le 10:9 Drink no wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tent of meeting, that ye die not: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations) but they were told not to drink at these times, not do not drink "ever"
Search your heart and see what the Spirit is telling YOU. You are accountable for acting as the Spirit leads. If you feel uncomfortable drinking some alcohol, then maybe you should obey your concience/the Spirit and not drink.

Of what? Sorry as an alian to this planet i don't know what you mean as being a christian.
Forgive my ignorance here, for a moment i took it to be a blind ignorant belief you had.
You follow what another has said regarding another etc etc. Which suggests you live in interpretations instead of facts.
The myth of Jesus suggest he was a revolutionary of his time.
In the myth he spoke words far before his time.
Hence distorted interpretations.
And after all that plus that bit on the cross, you ask can i have a drink?
well jesus it was all worth while then!
Why not learn to think for yourself?
cant be that hard!
Or add more opinions to yourself.
Then what?

There's no sin in consuming alcohol. The sin is in getting drunk.
even the Apostle Paul wrote."...a little wine is good for thy belly..."
Darned if he wasn't right! Seems biologists found out that some of the enzymes and bacteria in wine aid in the digestion.

Theres nothing wrong with drinking wines...Jesus drank wine at the lord's Supper. But the bible says dont b a fool to wine, meaning, to give urself to it at all, you should know your limit and if you dont then its best to refrain from it.

Philippians 4:5-Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
1 Timothy 2:9-in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing
:-)All thing in moderation:-]

I don't, and believe that it hinders your testimony as a christian if you do. I believe that we need to be holy in our way of living before the Lord and alcohol is America's #1 drug problem, how much do you want to help the promoters of that .

I hate to give a yes or no answer, but starting to drink has been a slippery slope for countless people. They get started and it leads to so many other things.

Sure you can. Even Jesus drank wine. the key is that you not do it as abusiveness to your body. It isn't the alcohol that is bad, it is those who misuse and abuse it.

i dont think anything is wrong with it as long as it is not abused. water was turned into wine and also consider communion.
