Actually the UN invited Taiwan to be part during the transition period when China was allowed to re-enter. Unfortunately, Taiwan's selfish, murderous, and corrupt dictator, who lost a war against China so he ran away to persecute innocent Taiwanese instead refused because "he was the only ruler of China and they should not let Mao in--even though Mao was the ruler of China.

Taiwan's a democracy with it's own military, currency, constitution, and freely elected government.

To everyone who said yes, remember Taiwan is not a country is it part of china. What they need to do is declare their independence.
