Why spoil Taiwan: All the UN amounts to is a billion dollar expenditure, paid for with our taxes. You cannot Buy your friends. Here is some info for you that you may not be aware of.
This should answer your question: Why add to the cost of UN, America is going bankrupt supporting those countries.
Egypt, for, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.
Jordan votes 71% against the United States
And receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.
Pakistan votes 75% against the United States
Receives $6,721,000 annually in US Fore ign Aid.
India votes 81% against the United States Receives $143,699,000 annually
Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the taxes (and gasline)(and Health care).

Actually the UN invited Taiwan to be part during the transition period when China was allowed to re-enter. Unfortunately, Taiwan's selfish, murderous, and corrupt dictator, who lost a war against China so he ran away to persecute innocent Taiwanese instead refused because "he was the only ruler of China and they should not let Mao in--even though Mao was the ruler of China.

Taiwan's a democracy with it's own military, currency, constitution, and freely elected government.

Of course they should be and the world is whimpy, for if they bound together, China could no longer prevent it.

Taiwan has as much right as any country to be in the UN. In fact, what good is the UN? And, why should the USA waste our money on this organization?

Yes------but it will never happen. China will veto it. The USA betrayed Taiwan. I guess the size and strength of China forced the issue. But, it is sad.

properly its as much as the persons who stay in a a particular area to be certain for themselves, seek for political representation and then pursue their declare. you may try it your self - be certain that the land you survive is your individual united states. then you make a political case to the government, and in the event that they reject it declare conflict. then you would desire to convince different international locations which you're truly are a rustic on your individual proper and permit them to open an embassy on your territory and open an embassy in theirs. very few international locations will settle on your place because of the fact it ought to have detrimental political implications with their relationship on your 'mom united states'. in case you seem at Taiwan, very few international locations have diplomatic family with Taiwan (neither the US, Russia or the european have diplomatic family with them). Taiwan has no place on the UN. it may be spoke of that the positions of lines on a map that define any united states politically are particularly arbitrary and meaningless. The 'One China' coverage is in easy terms a political place - you're loose to settle for it or reject it. Write on your political representative.

To everyone who said yes, remember Taiwan is not a country is it part of china. What they need to do is declare their independence. Unfortunately mainland china will destroy them if they do that, it doesn't pay to have a huge country depend on you for their economy. The united states should support them but we won't beacuse we are hypocrites, So much for supporting freedom and democracy.

So they shoudl be allowed but no they won't be.

The UN should dissolve itself. Their main purpose is to stop anything useful from happening anyway.
