My mom used to make this for us when we were little I hope you try it it is delicious. In a pot heat enough oil to cover the bottom of the pot. roughly chop an onion and mince a chili, lightly brown in pot. When lightly browned add garlic salt pepper and oregano. Add green beans and 3 tomatoes roughly chopped add a cup of vegetable broth or water, simmer until cooked. This recipe can be made with fresh, frozen. or canned vegetables it is so good that I may have to make some for lunch.

Steam the beans for about ten minutes, then put them into a large bowl of ice water. This will stop them from cooking more, and help preserve the bright green color.
Now, heat some olive oil in a pan, add some minced garlic and cook until the garlic softens. Add the cold green beans and some red pepper flakes (about 1 tbsp, or more to taste.) and saute for 3-4 minutes, till the beans get hot. Add a splash of vinegar (preferably red wine vinegar, or tarragon vinegar if you have it, toss to coat and serve.

4 cups frozen green beans
1 cup any salsa (I use medium)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8-1/4 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
1/2 cup any hard cheese, grated
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
Mix frozen green beans with the salsa.
Put into sprayed casserole dish.
Mix together sour cream, mayo, lemon juice and pepper flakes.
Put on top of green beans and spread to make an even layer.
Put grated cheese on top and then green onion.
Cook covered at 350 for about 30 minutes.
