How do i get that tousled slightly curled look?

I have hair that curls when up in a pony but looks hideous curled down natural so i would like to know how i can get that touseled messy curl look.

I use curling tongs! I lightly curl my hair and then just run my fingers through the curls and slightly ruffle it! I think it comes out looking nice!! (and i get complimented for it!)

try braiding it then go to sleep .. wake up and toss* also i read ina mag that u should put in in a bun when slightly wet, sleep on it then let down in the morning* personally i use a curling iron or heated rollers =0)

I use rollers.The kind that steam. It works very well,I often get asked how I do it.And get alot of compliments Get the big rollers.
Some people use a curling iron, or braid it ,etc when it is wet and leave it in overnight.

wash your hair before bed. then when its damp put like 4 or 5 braids and leave it overnight. that will make it wavy. if you want little and more waves then do more braids. also if you want that "back from the beach look" try Garnier Fructis Surf Hair.
