im married and my sister has been single for over a year shes pretty but doesnt seem confident to go up to a bloke and give him her number.Isnt this what you would do to get a bloke??How will she ever get one??

i know how she feels .. its not easy to just approach a bloke and give him her number i know ive been single 6 yrs and confidence is worked on ... has she had times where she has been knocked back or dumped cause that hits your confidence .
couple of things she can try
1) joining a evening group or club then when got to know some of them and males she can give them all her number to arrange an eve out and therefore she will be happy giving her number to others in general.
2) joining a internet chat site and chatting to people and getting to know men that way
3) go out with you and some female mates and do a daring game .... if she gives her number to someone youll do something in return like kareoke etc and all of you play it .. its a laugh
ive got lots of people i chat to these ways but what you gotta remember if shes not happy/ confident with herself she needs to sort that first

First of all don't be so hard on your sister. I know you care a lot about her, but you and your sister are two different people. I'm not the type of woman to go up to a male and just give him my number either. I guess you could say I would rather be chased a little. Some people are very shy when it come to this type of thing. Maybe your sister doesn't have anyone because Mr. Right han't come along yet. She'll find someone and when she does she won't have to run after him. If a guy is interested then he will talk to her. I think that you should let your sister live her own life and stop worrying about this as if it was your problem. She can handle herself and to answer your question, NO this is not the way to get a bloke. By the way their men not blokes.

Depends on her age. If she's young, she probably doesn't need to do much. But once a woman is over a certain age, she'll have to make things happen. I think joining some kind of activities would be the best way for her to meet someone. This way, she won't find it too awkward to give her telephone number to people. She will be asked for it anyway.

iv only done it once and that was quite recently. some men are afraid if a woman seems pushy. but lots of eye contact and smiling does the trick as well.
give your sister lots of encouragment but you cant push her into doing something that she isnt ready for xx
