Wheaton Terriers are sweet little bundles of energy!
They can sometimes be a bit aloof -- if something else has their interest, or if it suits the situation, lol.
Wheatons are smart, can be easily trained with a gentle but firm hand and lots of praise and affection, but they can also be a bit headstrong, stubborn, and if a command isnt convenient just might give you the look "I'll get back to you about that".

As far as grooming, gentle daily brushing is a must, and I bathed mine weekly with a gentle puppy shampoo (he was old). Ask your vet about how often to bathe .. once or twice a month might be sufficient for your pet.

I always recommend that new dog owners enroll their dog in obedience classes, both basic and intermediate. What you and your new friend gain together in bonding, obedience, and knowledge will be well worth the moderate costs involved.

Enjoy!!
