St. Peter was crucified upside-down because he insisted that he was unworthy to die like Jesus. Even in death he was humble.
Since my mission is to promote humility in Christians, don't you think that St. Peter's cross is a very appropriate symbol?
Why are so many of my fellow Christians unaware of their own religion? It makes me sad.
It makes me even more sad that Christians would jump to angry and hate-filled conclusions, and then attack me.
Apparently, I have a lot of work to do in promoting Christian humility.

I can prove that that this is St. Peter's cross, to the woman who, due to her lack of knowledge, claimed that I was wrong

I am familiar with that,
But when people show the upside down cross it is accepted as not accepting Jesus.
How do you know that the actual Cross that Peter died on looked so much like two lines made in Microsoft paint?
It is the symbolism that people have a problem with.
Why do you assume that all Christians are arrogant?
Peace!

Yeah I know who St. Peter is, what Catholic doesn't...but I have to say I did think the cross meant something else, sorry about the assumption. alot of non-Catholics don't know about St. Peter...I think you're mission's great, but maybe to make it a little less confusing you could flip the cross around. ;)

WRONG AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peter was martyred on the cross. Peter requested that he might be crucified head downward for he was not worthy to die as his Lord had died. His apostolic {{{symbol is a cross upside down with crossed keys.}}} The keys represent Peter as holder of the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Well, I do know that St. Peter was crusified upside down, you are not showing the upside down cross as a form of humility. You are using it to mock and degrade my religion. What saddens me is the angry people who agree with you about Christianity.

Humility? I think the Cross of Christ is the only Cross that's needed. Knowing all that it represents brings humility and everything else that one believes to live this Christian life. That's all I need.

first off peter is no saint. everyone in death is humble. i'm totally aware of my religion, and even more aware of yours. trust me im not attacking you ,but the papacy. isn't it funny that the papacy would choose a man that was willing to try to kill someone for His Lord. that must be why the papacy thinks its ok to kill someone that doesnt believe in their doctrine.dont forget jesus never asked us to take up arms to defend Him, He has actually had to heal because of this
