This question is not for a homework assignment, but it is apart of an unscientific poll that I am conducting for my university's EnvironMentals club. Thank you all for your responses thus far.

Burning fossil fuels is a big contributor to the atmosphere's carbon dioxide. So that increases the greenhouse effect and contributes to global warming.
Who does this? We do. Say you had a car and each day you burn a gallon (about 4 liters) of gasoline. That much gas weighs about six or seven pounds. When you burn the gas the carbon in it combines with oxygen to form about 20 pounds (nearly 10kg) of carbon dioxide. So if you burn 365 gallons a year, that will produce several tons of carbon dioxide just from your little car alone.

They say that using electricity causes global warming. Also driving cars cause global warming. But I don't care. I waste water energy and gas.

I don't think that I have ever heard a reputable person ever say that the earth is not in a warming phase, but I am of the school of thought that people are wrong to say that we as a civilization contribute to it.

Farting..... That is the biggest contribution to depleting the ozone and creating global warming. Yup, thats got to be it... Farting...!!!!
