Once a robber, when he was about to be caught, posed as a sage meditating under a tree .And he found how everybody prostrated before him ,let alone asking questions.
He then realised how just by posing to be a sage ,he got so much respect ; if he really did become one how much more greater treatment he would receive from the public.
Thus the Sinner changed into a Saint overnight.(by just imitating the good)

Imitate Christ.
Of course, people will try to crucify you (at least metaphorically)...but you will be imitating the Greatest Good.....
