Not unique, but if I was to have a girl (can't now, tubes tied) Her name would have been Emily. I love Emmy as a nickname too.
It is not unique, it is timeless and classic.
I actually like the name falen (Fay-len) for a BOY. It means Wolf in one of the American Indian languages.
